We are seeking a dependable and safety conscious Warehouse Team Member to join our team in (Stoney Creek, ON; London, ON; Waterloo, ON) and contribute to the success of our organization.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for the safe, timely and accurately picking of Riverside products before delivery to various customer locations. This position requires physical labour to pick products/materials.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves to complete order receipts.
  • Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colours, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.
  • Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
  • Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.
  • Transport product to customers’ vehicles.
  • Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
  • Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
  • Moves materials/products to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or by using other equipment.
  • Load products onto delivery trucks in a safe manner using the provided equipment as required.
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine material or equipment needs.
  • Accurately picks doors/trims and preps orders for shipping/delivery.
  • Compliance with Riverside policies, Health & Safety Program, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • General cleanup of warehouse including but not limited to trash, debris, etc.
  • Demonstrates courtesy and professionalism with all team members, clients, homeowners, and trades.
  • Performs duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

Job Specifications:

  • 1+ years General Labour experience.
  • Previous warehouse (fulfillment/pick and pack) or delivery experience is preferred.
  • The physical ability to: lift 50lbs repetitively, walk/stand/sit for long periods of time, bending, reaching, climbing, twisting, trunk strength, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to handle and move material.
  • WHMIS and Health & Safety Awareness Training (HSAT).
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods.
  • Relevant knowledge of safe work practices including the Occupational
  • Health & Safety Act.
  • Ability to read.
  • Basic arithmetic.
  • High degree of stress tolerance – the ability to deal calmly and effectively in high-stress situations.
  • Dependability – reliable, responsible, and fulfills obligations.

Reporting to the Mill Manager, the Production Team Member works as part of a team to produce a variety of millwork products that adhere to RMG’s quality standards to meet or exceed client expectations. Our finished millwork products are installed in both new build construction and existing residential homes, lived- in/occupied by homeowners. This position requires physical labour to manufacture Riverside products.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Evaluate quality of materials or products.
  • Working with wood and MDF products.
  • Loading/unloading and operation of equipment in a safe manner such as CNC, moulder, saws, sanders, lifting assist devices.
  • Handle materials and tools in a safe manner and follow safety procedures.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material and products produced.
  • Route, trim, drill, and sand components to supplied drawings.
  • Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
  • Maintain production or processing equipment.
  • Record operational or production data.
  • Plan production or operational procedures or sequences.
  • Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
  • Provide assistance or direction to other workers within the organization.
  • Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
  • Other duties as required.

  • 1+ years of production experience.
  • Experience in woodworking.

As the successful candidate, you will possess a high degree of stress tolerance, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy variety in your daily work routine. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Delivery Driver/General Labourer is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Riverside products to various customer locations (homes, construction sites, etc.). This position requires physical labour to load/unload material at delivery locations.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Operate and drive vans and light trucks to deliver interior building materials such as doors, trim, and hardware.
  • Compliance with all traffic laws and regulations, Riverside policies, Health & Safety Program, and the Occupational Health& Safety Act.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections.
  • Drive to and from delivery destinations via established routes.
  • Ensure correct loading of vehicles. Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
  • Unload materials/products at delivery sites in keeping with shipping details or as directed by the Shipping Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Site Supervisor, or customer.
  • Deliver materials and proper paperwork to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Complete and maintain daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, working hours of service, repair status, following applicable provincial and federal regulations.
  • Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure load is properly fastened down and secure.
  • Ensure that material is protected from the outdoor element and transported with zero damage.
  • Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer, mechanical or delivery problems.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • Valid G Class Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract
  • 2+ delivery driver / mover experience is preferred.
  • The physical ability to: lift 50lbs repetitively, walk/stand/sit for long periods of time, bending, reaching, climbing, twisting, trunk strength, vision, and manual dexterity.
  • WHMIS and Health & Safety Awareness Training (HSAT).
